Joe C. Miller published an article in The History Teacher, titled “Never a Fight of Woman Against Man: What Textbooks Don’t Say about Women’s Suffrage” (2015). He also taught this subject at College of Marin in 2024. He points out that college textbooks include serious errors and myths about women’s history, overlooking men’s support for suffrage and overlooking the fascinating reasons for women’s opposition. He gives talks on suffrage history to clubs, libraries, schools, and historical societies.
